The incident occurred at the Avion Ridge Apartment complex in Arnold.
A 48-year-old Arnold man accidentally shot his gun into a neighbor's apartment in the 1400 block of Avion Ridge. The man called Arnold police on Wednesday, March 6 to advise them of the occurrence. He told officers the bullet went through his wall into the neighbor’s apartment. No one injured in the incident, police say. The man was given a careless and imprudent summons and released at scene.
The homeowner and another family member didn't find out about the incident until they woke up Monday morning and saw the bullet hole and other damage.
No one was injured in the incident, but Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies are asking for your help in the case.
A shot was fired into an Imperial home that traveled through the resident's bedroom window while he slept. The incident occurred in the 5400 block of Old Lemay Ferry Rd. late Sunday or early Monday morning. No one was injured. According to Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies, the bullet traveled through the window, over the bed of the sleeping homeowner, through the bathroom door and became lodged in the wall. "He didn't even hear the shot," said Capt. Ron Arnhart, of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. "He noticed the bullet hole and damage when he woke up in the morning." I know someone who was doing "quick-draw" practice with his revolver. He put a hole through the floor and into the abandoned theater below. We still chide him on occasion since no one was in the theater.   more ›
