Suzanne Corbett is a nationally award-winning writer/producer, culinary teacher and food historian. She served as food and travel writer for the St Louis Globe Democrat.(online) and food editor and feature writer for for PrimeLife MediaCircuit Newspaper  and 50plusstlouis.com. In addition, she contributes to NewsMagaizne Network and AAA Traveler Magazines. Other publication credits include Better Homes & Gardens, Sauce, Victoria Magazine, St. Louis At Home, St. Louis Homes & Lifestyles, and St. Louis Post Dispatch, and was host of Hot Plates, which aired on KSLG, St. Louis.

 Suzanne has also contributed to numerous cookbooks including Bread Winners, Bread Winners Too, Good Old Food and The James Beard Celebration Cookbook and is the author of the award winning cookbook, Pushcarts & Stalls: The Soulard Market History Cookbook.

In addition to her culinary classes, Suzanne's historic food programs interpret American foodways, ranging from hearth baking to cooking on vintage cast-iron wood stoves and early 20th century ranges to provisioning a chuck wagon. This work has earned her a place as a food historian for the National Park Service at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial and as a consultant for numerous exhibits at museums and historic sites throughout the U.S.

Suzanne has been honored with two Telly Awards, a Davey Award, the Missouri Media Award from the Department of Agriculture's Missouri Wine and Grape and the Quest Award from the National Federation of Press Women's Missouri affiliate, which recognizes individuals whose work reflects an enduring quest for the highest standards of professional ethics and excellence.

Suzanne holds a masters degree in media communications from Webster University and is a Certified Culinary Professional with the International Association of Culinary Professionals, a Les Dame D'Escoffer, a board member of The St. Louis Mercantile Library, the St. Louis Press Club and a past president of the Missouri Press Women.
