Jeff Roorda Wins State Representative District 113 Seat

Roorda, a Democrat, won the new district seat by almost 54 percent.

 

Jeff Roorda (D) has won the election for state representative for the newly drawn 113th District.

Unofficial election results show Roorda beat opponent Dan Smith (R) in the race by 53.86 percent by 46.03 percent. 

"It's a brand new district, and I'd like to thank the voters of Arnold, Imperial and Kimmswick," Roorda said.

Patch could not reach Smith, who is a member of the Fox C-6 School Board.

I voted for Rooda... Dan Smith was overkill on his campaign!! Every single day my home got 2-3 ads for him. It was too much, it was almost like he was begging for votes.
