2 Arnold Men Arrested for Third-Degree Assault After Fight on Birch

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the period ending April 7. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Friday, April 5

  • Store security at Dierberg's at 860 Arnold Commons reported that a woman took several items and left the store without paying. Police later arrested a 52-year-old Arnold woman. She was booked and released on a summons.
  • Store security at Kohl's at 2150 Michigan Ave. told police that a man took several items and left the store without paying. A 17-year-old Imperial man was later arrested and released on a summons.

Saturday, April 6

  • An officer investigating a fight on Birch arrested a 31-year-old man and a 47-year-old man - both from Arnold. They were booked, processed and later released on summonses.
  • A man who lives on St Joseph Drive told police that a man and woman came to his home looking for his grandson. The two refused to identify themselves. Prior to leaving the home, one of the two threw a piece of concrete through the front window causing $400 in damage. Both suspects fled prior to police arrival.
