Arnold Police Nab 4 for Illegal Drug Possession, DWI

Two people were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one for possession of marijuana and pipes and another for possession of items and chemicals used to manufacture meth.

Arnold police made four arrests in the week ending Sept. 30 for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated. They are as follows:

Tuesday, Sept. 25

An officer on a traffic stop at Irene and Vera found marijuana and pipes in the driver's vehicle. A 35-year-old man from Columbia, MO, was arrested and released.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

Officers investigating a suspicious person arrested a Hillsboro man for possession of items and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine. JCMEG responded and took custody of the items. The suspect was held for investigation.

Friday, Sept. 28

A 20-year-old St. Louis woman was arrested for DWI after she was stopped for a traffic violation at Interstate 55 and Highway 141. She later submitted to a breath test, which resulted in a .110% breath alcohol content. Following booking, she was released to a sober driver. 

Saturday, Sept. 29

A 23-year-old Brighton, IL, man was arrested at Vogel and the West Outer Road for DWI after he was reported as an impaired driver by the staff of nearby restaurant. He later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .149% breath alcohol content. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver.
