Snow Patrol: Roads OK in Arnold, Jefferson County

Authorities aren't reporting any major problems on the roadways, but urge motorists to slow down and take it easy. Plus, here are a couple other weather-related notes.

Authorities say the roads in Arnold and Jefferson County are OK, but they are urging motorists to take their time.

"We had a couple minor accidents off 21, but other than that, nothing major," said Capt. Ron Arnhart, of the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office. "Drivers just need to slow down and take it easy."

Maj. Nick McBroom, of the Arnold Police Department, said there have been no major problems in the city of Arnold.

"The roads are passable," he said. "You just need to slow down and take your time.

In other weather-related news today, the Jefferson County Library and Jefferson College will open at 10 a.m. due to inclement conditions.
