Son Arrested for Stealing Father's Dirt Bike in Imperial

Saturday, Feb. 2

A white enclosed trailer and numerous boards were reported stolen from a driveway on Woodland Trails in Imperial The theft occurred between Jan. 30 and Feb 2. The items were valued at $1,650. Police obtained a video surveillance tape from a camera posted at the home.

About $1,525 in electronics were reported stolen from a home on Crystal Wood Drive in Arnold. The theft occurred between 11:30 am and 7 p.m. Entry was made through an unlocked sliding glass door.

A resident on Seckman Springs in Imperial reported that his son had taken his dirt bike without his permission. The man told police he feared his son would try to sell the bike for heroin. An officer canvassed the area and returned to the home, where the resident said the bike was just posted on Facebook as being for sale. Another deputy later found the bike at a home on Kirchoff Lane in Imperial and arrested the the subject. The bike was returned to its owner.
