Thief Strikes Barnhart Storage Facility

Numerous big ticket items, including TVs, a motorcycle, curio cabinets, tool boxes and more, were reported stolen from a storage shed on Old Highway 21.

Numerous items were reported stolen from a storage shed a facility on Old Highway 21 on Dec. 19, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
The items included: three flat screen TVs, a king-sized mattress, two curio cabinets; five or six tool boxes; several battery operated Dewalt tools; eight to 10 boxes of Harley parts; two traffic stop lights; a 1970 Harley Davidson FLH; and several boxes of motorcycle parts.
A witness told police he saw a man moving items from the storage shed to a black pickup truck. He was able to provide police with the license number of the truck. Deputies seized two padlocks and are continuing to investigate.
