Woman Arrested for Public Urination at St. Louis Sports Zone

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the period ending Dec. 23. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Dec. 17

  • An employee at Storage Banc at 3850 Vogel Rd. reported that a man had been living in storage locker without his/her knowledge. The victim reported that the man damaged a heating duct and a thermostat in the hallway by the locker. The damages were estimated at about $300.
  • An employee at T-Mobile at 2164 Michigan Ave. told police that three men between the ages of 17 to 25 entered the store, cut the security cords on five cell phones and then ran from the store. The phones were valued at $2,650.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

  • An employee at a business at 135 Manufactures Dr. reported that someone stole a license plate from a truck that was parked on the lot. 
  • A man told police that an $800 air conditioner was stolen from his trailer on Plaza Drive. The air conditioner was last seen at the trailer on Dec. 11.

  • A resident on Sur Vista Drive reported that someone gained access to her Pay Pal account and purchased $40 worth of merchandise on Oct. 28.
  • An officer on patrol at St. Louis Sports Zone at 22 Arnold Park Mall arrested a 23-year-old woman after she was observed urinating in public. She was released on a summons.

Thursday, Dec. 20

  • A woman told police that both license plates were stolen from her vehicle at while parked at a business at 2201 Michigan Ave. 
  • Two teachers at Fox High School said they witnessed a 16-year-old teen yelling between classes, “____'s got a gun.” The male teen was detained by the student resource officer, transported to the Arnold police station and later released to a parent.
  • An officer on a traffic stop at Richardson Road arrested a 37-year-old Arnold woman after she was found to have a revoked driver’s license. A check of her criminal history revealed she had been convicted of driving while revoked on two prior occasions. She was released pending arrest warrant.

Saturday, Dec. 22

  • A resident on St. Francois Drive was bitten by a neighbor’s American Bulldog after the dog stuck his head under the fence. Medical treatment was refused. The case referred to animal control.

Sunday, Dec. 23

  • A woman told police she that she had made a report with the Sauget, IL, Police Department in reference to the theft of her cell phone from the Oz Nightclub. She tracked her phone to a home on Buck Drive in Arnold via GPS. A 23-year-old Arnold man was contacted and issued a summons. The phone was seized and returned to the victim.
