Pet Adoption Fees Increase in Arnold

The Arnold City Council recently approved raising adoption fees for animals at the city's Animal Control Center.

Fees for adopting a pet from Arnold's Animal Control Center have been raised between $10 and $50. The Arnold City Council approved in hike at a recent meeting.

Mary Holden, the city's community development director, said the fee increase was needed because the prices have gone up for spaying and neutering. The new fees are listed below:

  • Male dog: $100
  • Female dog: $125
  • Male Cat: $80
  • Female Cat: $100

The center is located at 2912 Arnold Tenbrook Rd. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fore more information on the center, call 636-282-2387.
