Fox School Board Election: Submit Your Questions for Candidates

Patch will send questionnaires to the seven candidates running in the April election for two seats on the Fox School District Board of Education. What questions should we include?

Seven candidates have filed to run for two seats on the Fox School District Board of Education in the April 2 election. As we approach the election, Patch will send each candidate a questionnaire to help empower voters to cast their ballots for the candidates they believe in.

And we would like to include all of you in the process.

What questions do you have for the candidates? Do you have a question about an issue in a particular school? Or would you like to know the candidates' viewpoints on a more general question for the entire district?

Please share your questions in the comments section at the bottom of this article. We'll include as many as we can in our candidate questionnaire.

We request that you ask questions that are on point and deal with the issues — this is not a forum for personal attacks on one candidate or a specific issue.

This is your election Arnold, Imperial and Barnhart — what information do you need before heading into the voting booth? Please submit your questions by noon on Friday, March 1.

What will you do about the hiring od relatives in the Fox distraict? What will you do about outsiders not even knowing there is a job opening? What will you do about posting job opening so that you get the widest cross section of applications?

Sorry Sheri there is a specific issue that needs to be dealt with. If anyone is going to run for this office, I want to know what is going to be done when that candidate is faced with the expiration of the two-year deadline for Mrs. Nasj's daughter-in-law to obtain the minimum credentials required for her job. If she has not met the requirements set by the school board with respect to credentials for performing that job, what will you do? These are my tax dollars being spent and I am opposed to how this was done in favor of other qualified candidates.
